3pm ET | 12pm PT Academic pipeline programs have created safe spaces for women, minorities and persons with disabilities to receive training in STEM disciplines for several decades. In this session, Drs. Curtis D. Byrd and Rihana S Mason will discuss several programs several programs featured in Academic Pipeline Programs: Diversifying the Bachelors to the Professoriate and their best practices for supporting graduate study and beyond.
Dr. Curtis D Byrd is the Special Advisor to the Provost on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Georgia State University. Dr. Rihana S Mason is a Research Scientist at the Urban Child Study Center at Georgia State University.
